Resources for graphing...

  1. Graphing equations.

    1. graphing an equation in slope-intercept form.

      1. http://www.phschool.com/atschool/academy123/english/academy123_content/wl-book-demo/ph-076s.html

      2. also on Alg1 book Lesson 6.2.

      3. Video 6.2A for Alg 1.

    2. Graphing equations in standard form, using X and Y intercepts.

      1. plug in a Zero and find the intercepts…

      2. http://www.phschool.com/atschool/academy123/english/academy123_content/wl-book-demo/ph-212s.html

      3. Alg 1, Lesson 6.4, Video 6.4B

    3. Solving a system of equations by graphing.

      1. graph both equations and see where they intersect. That is the answer.

      2. http://www.phschool.com/atschool/academy123/english/academy123_content/wl-book-demo/ph-212s.html

      3. Alg 1, Lesson 7.1, Video 7.1A.

    4. Khan Academy videos on solving equations and interpreting the graphs. Great series of videos.

      1. https://www.khanacademy.org/math/algebra/linear-equations-and-inequalitie/graphing_solutions2/v/graphs-of-linear-equations

    5. Practice graphing in Khan Academy. - System of Linear Equations.

      1. In the following link they'll give you two equations.

      2. Use your own paper to find the points where the line should go (using the y-intercept and slope, or using the x-intercept and y-intercept).

      3. Once you know where the points should be, use the mouse and drag each line to where it's supposed to be and check your answers. Great way to practice.

      5. Watch the videos if in doubt.

      6. try to get 5 correct in a row!
