Directions for Alg1 class on Friday 8/19/16


Alg 1

  1. Directions for Alg1 class…

    1. Practice the quizzes and tests from the book…  do each link twice. That is, once you answered all questions and checked your score click on "try again" to see a new set of questions.  

    2. If you have questions ask your neighbor! Lots of smart students in this class! : )

    3. Chapter 1, practice test (twice)… http://www.phschool.com/webcodes10/index.cfm?wcprefix=ata&wcsuffix=0152&area=view

    4. Then do the quizzes 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 (links below). Twice each link.

  1. Sign up for K.A. … https://www.khanacademy.org/

  2. Log in using google and your school email.

  3. Add me as coach, click on this link… khanacademy.org/coaches

  4. Alg 1. Batista Class code: QYNXQX

  5. Join the Algebra 1 mission by clicking on Subjects, Algebra, Classes, Algebra 1, Mission (or Start Mission).

  6. Then take the pre-test they'll give you (Mastery Challenge) and go from there…

  7. Practice as much as possible by doing the exercises. Don't watch the videos. If you're not sure get a hint or go to a different topic within Alg1.

  8. No HW : )
